A report released by the German Radiation Protection Federation (Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz) reveals a list of smartphones that have the largest radiation emission to the smallest. What are the devices in question?

A list of the amount of radiation from this smartphone model is newer than previously disclosed.

As quoted from Phone Arena, Sunday (02/10/2019) the gadget with the highest radiation level is held by the Xiaomi Mi A1 which releases 1.75 watts per kilogram. Then behind it is the OnePlus 5T with 1.68 watts per kilogram

On this list, other Xiaomi products included in the largest category of radiating radiation, namely the Mi Max 3 of 1.58 watts per kilogram, Mi Mix 3 of 1.45 watts per kilogram, and Redmi Note of 1.29 watts per kilogram.

Besides, other models, including HTC U12 Life, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, iPhone 7, iPhone 8, Xperia XZ1 Compact, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 6, until ZTE AXON 7 Mini goes into the smartphone line with the release biggest radiation.

As for Samsung models, the majority are in the category of smartphones with the smallest emission of radiation, for example, the Galaxy Note 8 by releasing 0.17 watts per kilogram, Galaxy S8 + by releasing 0.26 watts per kilogram, and Galaxy S9 + by releasing 0.29 watts per kilogram.

For the record, until now there has been no limit on radiation that is globally appropriate to mention that the smartphone is considered dangerous for consumers.

The anxiety could not be separated from the issues that the radio waves emitted by smartphones had an impact on human health.

Germany itself has an environmental certification called Der Blaue Engel. This certification only passes cellphones that have a radiation level of fewer than 0.6 watts per kilogram.
